A recent bad experience got us thinking: South Africa has world class diving destinations and some world class dive operators, but is that enough? Is it enough these days to take clients out, show them the dive sites, and bring them back safely? Diving competes for the leasure dollar in an ever more crowded market place, and maybe we are losing out.  We all want to grow our industry - not just for the industries sake but because every new diver is one more person likely to care about our oceans, one more person likely to object to shark finning and over-fishing.
