FEATURED DIVE OPERATOR OF THE WEEK : TONY LINDEQUE FROM LEARN TO DIVE TODAY

I'm Tony Lindeque, a PADI independent instructor operating in Cape Town. My company is called Learn to Dive Today (http://www.learntodivetoday.co.za) and we are DAN Business Members. Most of my diving is done in False Bay, with a bit of Atlantic in summer and dive trips to elsewhere in the country (such as Sodwana and Knysna) a couple of times a year. My favourite local diving spot is Long Beach in Simonstown, where I do most of my training dives. It's an under-appreciated and under-explored piece of ocean where I've seen everything from giant short tailed sting rays to devil rays, horsefish, raggy scorpion fish and (on two occasions) great white sharks.

I am a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and can teach up to Divemaster. At any one time I have a number of courses on the go, including a couple of Divemaster candidates. I very much enjoy interacting with a lively group of divers who are current and former students and now also friends - either via my blog at http://learntodivetoday.wordpress.com, or on the weekly boat and shore dives that we arrange, to explore the many wrecks and photogenic reefs around the Cape Peninsula.
