Sodwana is situated on the north-east coastline of South Africa, amidst Isimangaliso Wetland Park. Classified as one of the top dive sites in the world, but still largely unexplored, this 50 km reef complex boasts around 95 species of hard and soft coral, sponges, other invertebrates and around 1200 fish species. In one of the submarine canyons just outside of the reef complex on 27 November 2000 the coelacanth – a prehistoric fish, was rediscovered.

Short HD movie from PADI Advanced Rebreather Diving course and fun dives organised by Aqua Divers International in Sodwana Bay, South Africa together with Reefteach - a local rebreather friendly dive center and lodge. Bunch of dive PRO's and a few very experienced fun divers, who probably share a million scuba dives between all of them, learning and trying out awesome features that the recreational rebreather Discovery MKVI by Poseidon has to offer. Checking out stunning Sodwana Bay reefs from this better point of a diver's view by the way. During the course a world record of the number of MKVI rebreather divers underwater at the same time and place has been set (17). Welcome to the rebreather revolution! Diving on the next level and NO BUBBLES:)!!!

Filmed and edited by Bart Lukasik (also on a rebreather), expanded version soon.

A night of beauty in the Magical Maldives. This night I met Manta Rays for the first time. I watched them move and dance under the light, feeding on the plankton, swooping, looping... mesmerising me with their perfect grace and beauty. Then I pulled on my fins and mask, slipped into the warm water and spent hours joining in the dance... wishing the night would last forever.
